St. Patrick senior Connor Foxworth finished his indoor track and field season with a flourish.
Foxworth set an Alabama Indoor Track and Field facility record this past Saturday at the Last Chance Invitational Meet with a vault of 16 feet,1/4 inches. According to Milesplit national rankings, this winning vault ranks him fourth in the nation for the indoor track 2011-2012 season.
This concluded Foxworth’s indoor season, and he will now begin concentrating for the outdoor season. He will be shooting for his third straight Class 3A state championship in the pole vault.
Foxworth will announce his college choice between Mississippi State, Auburn, and Alabama on Wednesday at 1:30 p.m.
At the same meet in Alabama. St. Patrick freshman Anthony Delvescovo vaulted 10-6. St. Patrick coach Stan Dellenger said Delvescovo finished third out of 41 in the small pit division
