This week we face the two toughest District foes. Monday and Friday will be full vault days
with tuesday and thursday drill days. Wednesday’s weather is supposed to be partly cloudy and may have light winds. A storm is moving through up north. Team goals this week include getting rid of the no heights from the high starting heights of last week and showing the District that we are still a powerful vault team. Rockets fly high. This Wednesday we face two powerful vault teams in Thunderbird with the 2nd highest vaulter in Division II, junior Thomas Balls (13-6) and another talented junior Julianna Brunner (8-9) and Apollo with legendary coaches Frank Mcgee and his wife who have seniors Micah Sparks (12-6) and Brenna Gloetzner (8-6). Both teams will have more vaulters than we have. Each with 14 or so. It could be a long night with 40 or so vaulters. For Thunderbird and Apollo this is their first meet of the season. Based on last year’s results and last week’s results, there will be quite a contest at the top with a young Moon Valley team facing the other teams veterans. Rankings are:.
